Here are some past events:

The first ‘Friends’ event was 'Christmas Wreath Making' which took place in the school hall on 30th November 2021.  25 beautiful wreaths were made ready to adorn front doors over the festive time.  It was a very enjoyable night, mulled wine, prosecco and nibbles were served and a great raffle.  In all, the evening raised a fabulous £322.37.

As usual ‘Friends’ used Classfundraising to organise their Christmas gifts, each child drew a Christmas picture which could be printed on cards/wrapping paper, t-towels and bags.  The response was good and a further £331.82 was raised.As usual ‘Friends’ used Classfundraising to organise their Christmas gifts, each child drew a Christmas picture which could be printed on cards/wrapping paper, t-towels and bags.  The response was good and a further £331.82 was raised.

In February ‘Friends’ held a school disco.  The discos are always a favourite with the children and ‘Friends’ say it is always a delight to put on.  As well as DJ Nick, ‘Friends’ sold sweets and drinks and offered face painting.  In total 162 children attended, 64 from KS1 and 98 from KS2.  They had 20 lovely parents helping too.  In total this raised a whopping £390.34.

The Eggstravangza was another fabulous event, held straight after school on the last day of the Easter term, it is always popular.  Alongside the hunt (which resulted in finding Where’s Wally) we had refreshments and a raffle.  Total raised that afternoon was £368.

The Friends ran the refreshments at the Y6 Leavers Play in July and raised £30.

Friends are proud to support the Year 6 Leavers jumpers for the 4th year.  The Friends subsidise the full cost of the jumpers.  The Friends also organised an Ice Cream Van on Sports day.
