We have been learning all about the Amazon Rainforest. Studying the layers of the forest, animal habitats, climate, the Amazon River and the effects of deforestation on the habitats of many animals and tribes.   We linked the topic across the whole curriculum, including writing our own adventure stories, producing artwork, sewing rainforest-themed glasses cases, researching facts about animals and then creating fact files.
