Our topic is 'monsters'. Our key texts are: The Gruffalo, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, We're Going on a Bear Hunt and Monsters Love Underpants. 

We enjoyed the snow and ice. Exploring the world around us, discussing new vocabulary, observing how ice melts into water and mark making in the snow. 

We made rafts for the Three Billy Goats to cross the river. 

After reading 'The Gruffalo' we collected different natural resources from our nursery garden and created a 'house' for the little brown mouse.
