As part of our English lessons, we read and performed the narrative poem 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes. We discussed the author's use of figurate language - alliteration, onomatopoeia, similes etc. and his use of rhyming couples within the poem. 

We created our own endings to the poem, following the same poetry structure that Alfred Noyes used. See some super examples of our work below.
