This half term our topic has been the Anglo-Saxons. We learnt how the Angles, Saxons and Jutes travelled from Germany, Denmark and Holland and settled in England for a new way of life. We looked at old artefacts and even created our own brooches based on the priceless Kingston brooch which is on show at the Liverpool World Museum.
